I started throwing on the potters wheel in 1975 while enrolled in a BFA college program in Michigan. My work career took a different path but I was able to return to working with clay in 2006 and have been at it since then and have been enjoying a dedicated studio at our home in Pagosa. Candace has enjoyed working with fabrics since learning to sew in 4H and her interest now focuses on quilting and most recently art quilts. We started collaborating, combining ceramics and miniature art quilts.
