Julie (Schneider) Gordon began her career as an artist at an early age. By the time she was 18 years of
age, she took Best in Show at state competitions and had her work displayed at the Museum of
Contemporary Art in La Jolla, California, and the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park, San Diego,
California. Julie went on to earn many scholarships so that she could continue her education in art. Since
then, Julie’s work has been featured in newspapers and magazines, catching the attention of Hollywood
celebrities. Julie was invited to be a contributing artist for the Motion Picture Television Foundation,
attending The Golden Boot Awards, when her schedule permitted.
Past and present notable collectors include Harry Carey Jr., Jack Elam, George Kennedy, Caruth Byrd, Lee
Horsley, and many others. Julie made her home in Colorado 38 years ago, continuing to paint, sculpt,
and draw. She sells fine art prints, oil paintings, and watercolors. She also works on commission to
create custom portraiture and bronzes.
